Brian S. Robinson is the primary author and editor of CamsGuides. CamsGuides is a small, independent site, and Brian does three jobs on it: he writes the pages, carries out any first-hand platform tests, and checks the facts. We say this openly rather than presenting separate author, reviewer or expert profiles.

Note: these years refer to Brian’s work in the webcam and web industry in general, not to testing done for CamsGuides. Each platform page on CamsGuides says whether it is a profile built from public sources or a review based on first-hand testing.

What Brian does at CamsGuides

• Writes and edits. He writes, edits and maintains every editorial page on the site: the platform profiles, the comparison chart and the guides.
• Tests platforms. A platform page becomes a hands-on review only after Brian has used that platform with his own account and money: signed up, bought at least one token or credit package and spent it. The review states when it was tested, from which country, on which device, how much was spent and which of the test checks it covered. So far he has tested LiveJasmin (September 10 to October 12, 2026) and Chaturbate (September 26 to October 8, 2026); the other nine platform pages are profiles.
• Checks the facts. Before a page is published, and again whenever it is updated, he checks its prices, features, claims and links against the sources cited on the page. Because one person does the writing and the checking, we do not claim an independent second check.

CamsGuides does not use affiliate links at the moment and earns nothing when a reader signs up with a platform. If that changes, it will not change what Brian writes: no platform pays for a better position or more favourable coverage, and the A–Z list is alphabetical, not a ranking.
